Gina Carano, who played Cara Dune in The Mandalorian, was pulled from the project after sharing posts on Instagram that compared the current political climate to the climate of Nazi Germany.
Lucasfilm confirmed the news through a statement to Variety: “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. However, his posts on social media that denigrate people for their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.
Carano was also fired on Wednesday by the agency that represents her, United Talent Agency.
