This year, the city plans to achieve interest income of KRW 8 billion (KRW 7.7 billion in general accounting and KRW 300 million in special accounting) by the end of the year through the use of the global cash diversion system and strategic deposit of term deposits to secure independent financial resources. This is a 17% increase compared to the previous year’s interest income and is the highest ever.

Accordingly, Gimje City conducts a general reorganization every year in managing cash deposits other than revenue and expenditures. This year, the city strengthened its comprehensive management plan for public property such as land and buildings to systematically manage city property.
