It wouldn’t have made much difference, either Santiago Gimenez played for AC Milan. The main Italian club was particularly interested in the striker Feyenoord. The clubs did not reach a final agreement, it appeared in a conversation with ESPN Mexico.
“The last day of the transfer market was very intense for me,” Gimenez reveals. “Especially the last hours. AC Milan became very hard for me, but the deal could not be closed due to the short period and Feyenoord’s asking price.” The 23-year-old striker, who is currently ‘ recovering from a thigh injury in his home country of Mexico, a great football fan.
