Gimcheon University badminton team wins bronze medal at the 105th National Sports Festival

【Break News Gimcheon】 Reporter Jin Ye-sol = Gimcheon University (President Yoon Ok-hyeon) announced on the 17th that it won a bronze medal at the 105th National Sports Festival.

The 105th National Sports Festival was held in Miryang, Gyeongnam from the 7th to the 12th.

The Gimcheon University badminton team that participated in the competition achieved the feat of winning a bronze medal in the men’s university individual doubles event (Chu Jin, Chu Chan) and a bronze medal in the women’s university team event (Yeo Na-young, Choi Eun-seo, Kim Su-hyun, Jang Jeong, Lee Yun-seo, Lee Min-seo, and Kim Min-kyung).

The Gimcheon University badminton team, which placed third in the team competition at the championships six months after its founding in March 2021, has been consistently posting good records and winning various awards.

Coach Kim Min-ho said, “I would like to say thank you to our players who did not give up and fought despite injuries,” and added, “I am proud of this achievement because we trained to the best of our ability.”

Coach Kim Min-ho said, “I would like to thank our players who fought without giving up even with injuries,” and added, “I am proud of the results we achieved through training our best.”
