Gijs Staverman will stop his program on NPO Radio 2 on June 1 and start a ‘new adventure’

Gijs Staverman will no longer be heard on NPO Radio 2 from June 1 and will also be leaving his broadcaster KRO-NCRV. A spokesperson for the broadcaster confirms the presenter’s step after a message about this from The Gelderlander.

The DJ is quitting so he can start “a new adventure” this summer. The presenter writes this down in a message Instagram. “After more than 10 years, I have decided to quit KRO-NCRV and therefore also NPO Radio 2,” writes Staverman. “This was certainly not an easy decision, but I can start a new adventure this summer! I will announce what and how and when as soon as possible! Thanks for all the love.”
