The Gijón city Council held on Tuesday the take six samples of sand from the Beach of San Lorenzo. This is a sampling manual to be carried out in low tide in the area Tostaderu with the aim of analyze its composition and determine if there is organic matter.
The operating will be coordinated by the service of environment of the own departmentthe Municipal Water Company (EMA) and the Municipal Company of Services of Urban Environment (EMULSA) and will be conducted by the company Envira consulting Engineers with a cost higher than 2,000 euros.
This sampling part of the plan of actions of the River Piles that program from the Technical Commission of the Waterfront of the city Council of Gijón and the term of execution is expected to be 20 days from the receipt of the samples to be sent to the laboratory.
Works by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz
After three months of work and a project of almost € 105,000, have completed the works of urbanization of the calle Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. Currently already have continuity longitudinal after you have completed the connection of the existing road and the extension of the infrastructure of urban services required for future buildings as are the network of water supply, sanitation, public lighting, gas, electricity and telephony.
The project was one of the main demands of the Association of Neighbors Roces Covadonga the neighbourhood Plan, a work that also claimed the residents ‘ Association Montevil.
