Gijón extends the salvage on the eastern beaches for twelve days | BE Gijón | Today for Today Gijón

The City Council of Gijón will expand the Rescue Service on the eastern beaches of the council, which each year ends on August 31, until next September 12, with the same operation that has worked during the summer, that is, 33 aquatic lifeguards, 12 boatmen and six beach attendants.

The service hours on these beaches will continue to be from 12 to 19 hours, while as of September 1, the hours at San Lorenzo beach will be from 10 to 20 hours, staying in Poniente and El Arbeyal, from 12 to 20 hours.

As of September 15, as every year, the Rescue Service will remain daily at the three urban beaches, from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the number of personnel passing through will be reduced to 12 aquatic lifeguards, six boatmen and three lifeguards. Beach.
