Sentenced to three years and four months in prison in the “Transfers” case and imprisoned at the Vânjuleţ External Section of the Drobeta Turnu Severin Penitentiary, Gigi Nețoiu had a heart attack.

The former shareholder of FC Dinamo and the University of Craiova, Gigi Neţoiu, was transported to the hospital, on Sunday evening at the Emergency Reception Unit of the Drobeta Turnu Severin County Hospital at the Cardiology Department, where the doctors stabilized him.
During this night, Gigi Nețoiu arrived at the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Timișoara. The doctors here have established that Nețoiu has major problems with the arteries of the heart. Moreover, specialists say that it must be operated urgently, on an open heart. The operation will be done at the latest tomorrow.
Gigi Neţoiu is being supervised in the hospital by several employees of the Drobeta Turnu Severin Penitentiary.
