Gigi Hadid Arrested for Possession of Marijuana in the Cayman Islands

Supermodel Gigi Hadid (28) has been arrested for possession of marijuana after she flew from the United States to the Cayman Islands last week.

Hadid landed on a private plane at Owen Roberts International Airport on July 10 and went through customs with her luggage. Customs officers took her luggage through a scanner and went through the bag and found a small amount of marijuana.

Customs determined that the marijuana was for personal use. Hadid was nevertheless arrested for importing marijuana and importing equipment used to smoke marijuana.

She was fined 1,000 dollars, which corresponds to around 10,000 kroner.

Gigi Hadid is one of the world’s leading supermodels, and has walked several prestigious catwalks and graced a wide range of magazines.
