It’s the same story every year. After Christmas, many people want to resell their gifts from December 25th! According to a Kantar study for eBay published in December 2021, almost 10% of French people, or 6.5 million, already planned to resell their Christmas gifts.
“Like every year, we expect a spike in new ads on Christmas Eve. This year, nearly 3 million new ads are expected between December 25 and January 3, including more than 300,000 on Christmas Day, up 50% from 2020. explained Sarah Tayeb, Sales Director of eBay in France.
Same story for theand Beebs site, which expects to see its number of ads explode between the two Christmas Eves! In 2021 on Beebs, 1 in 4 parents put at least one product on sale between Christmas and New Years, according to an internal study. Among the best-selling gifts are games and toys, high-tech products, books and articles for children.
