He pointed out that they also intend to install test tents to separate travelers from people with symptoms. It is planned to install posts on the Caminera and the Costanera de Asunción. They also work to accommodate and hire human resources, due to the professionals who contracted COVID-19 and are currently in isolation.
“The largest number of people who ask for the test are contacts; second, travelers, and third, those with symptoms. We have to solve this as soon as possible because we are not giving the attention that we should give ”, he said regarding the number of professionals in white that they have.
Regarding the citizen consultation about the fact that the Ministry of Health allegedly removed the rapid anti-COVID test from circulation, Martínez said that it is not true. “It is not true. We are going to meet with the Chamber of Laboratory Owners to be able to talk and understand each other about what the rapid test means, which is an orientation test, which does not have the strength of the PCR, you cannot leave the country nor can you present any type of rest, ”he warned.
He insisted that citizens should be instructed in how to use the test and that its use has the expected performance.
