Giessen/Freiburg – Ayleen († 14) has been chatting with Jan-Heiko P. (30) for months. Thus, the man gained his trust. So much so that she finally agreed to meet him: the death sentence for him.
The public prosecutor in Gießen has now filed a complaint. Charges: murder, fatal attempted rape, child abduction, coercion, driving without a license and obtaining child sexual abuse material.
Chief Prosecutor Thomas Hauburger (41): If convicted, “there is a risk of life imprisonment and preventive detention.”
Jan-Heiko P. is specifically accused of this
The 30-year-old from Waldsolms (Hesse) is said to have picked up the 14-year-old schoolgirl in her car in Gottenheim (Baden-Württemberg) in the afternoon of July 21, 2022 and drove her to Hesse to a forest area near Langgöns-Cleeberg (district of Giessen).
In the area of a dirt road, the defendant allegedly killed Ayleen shortly after midnight. Law enforcement officials believe the crime was sexually motivated.
Chief Prosecutor Thomas Hauburger: “After the murder, the accused is said to have brought the body to Teufelsee near Echzell (Wetteraukreis), where it was found on July 29, 2022 by the Hessian police.”
The public prosecutor’s office in Gießen and the 30-strong “LACUS” task force set up at the central Hessian police headquarters had heard, among others, 122 witnesses and evaluated more than 30,000 chats. There were also several forensic and forensic reports. In this way, the police and the prosecutor’s office were able to justify an urgent suspicion against P.
During the digital forensic examination of the suspect’s mobile phone, it emerged, for example, that Ayleen and the suspect allegedly met via “Snapchat” at the end of April 2022 and exchanged several messages from then on.
In the coming months, the Giessen jury will decide whether to admit the charges and open the main proceedings.
