GARUT, KOMPAS.TV – Muhammad Gibran Arrasyid (14), a teenager who went missing on Mount Guntur, Garut Regency, West Java. Gibran was declared missing since Sunday (19/9/2021) morning.
After missing six days, on Friday afternoon (24/9), the Joint SAR team found Gibran in the area of Curug Koneng Gunung Guntur.
“Yes, it was found, in a safe condition,” said Head of the Regional Search and Rescue Potential Coordination Forum (FKP3D), Agus Nurjaman. Tribunjabar.id, Saturday (25/9).

Bripda M Septian Efintiar, a member of the Garut Police Samapta, recounted the moments when Gibran was found sitting alone.
On the first day of the search, said Septian, the team actually went to the location where Gibran was found but did not see the figure of the 14-year-old teenager.
“Had been to the same place but was not found. The sixth day was found in that place, the position is still sitting,” he said.
Septian said, Gibran was found in good health and there was a small wound on his leg.
“When Gibran came down he wanted to walk alone, but we carried him because he had a wound on his leg,” explained Septian.
The search effort was unmitigated because the team fielded more than a hundred people. Those who participated in the search were from Company 4 Pioneer Battalion A, Sat Brimob, West Java Police and Dalmas, Garut Police.
