Solo mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka displaying Christmas and New Year (Nataru) themed decorations on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Solo. Gibran is ready to take on those protesting this Christmas decoration.
The video showing the decoration was uploaded by Gibran to his Twitter account, @gibran_tweet.
“Solo Christmas prep,” Gibran reported on Twitter on Tuesday (11/29). detikJateng Wednesday (301/11/2022).
Not only along Jalan Jendral Sudirman, Christmas decorations can also be seen at Solo City Hall. A number of Christmas ornaments were seen taped to the banyan tree in the courtyard of Solo Town Hall.
A number of netizens fear that there will be protests from some groups regarding the installation of these decorations.
“If someone goes to a rally and asks to be released, what do you do, brother?” comment from an account.
“Here, all mass organizations are cool, sir,” Gibran replied.
When he met him, Gibran praised Nataru’s beautiful decoration. He wanted to convey the message that Solo City Hall had an open space for all elements of society.
So far, Gibran said no one has protested the installation of these decorations. However, he welcomes it if there are opposing parties.
“If anyone protests, protest with me (protest with me). Get used to being tolerant,” Gibran said when he met at city hall on Wednesday (11/30/2022).
