SOLO, KOMPAS.com-Mayor Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka issued a circular that allowed tourists to come during the ban homecoming to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 from taking place.
In letter number 067/1309, Gibran allows tourists to come and stay in Solo as long as they have a negative Covid-19 certificate.
“Traveling to Solo is allowed. Enter according to the usual regular regulations. Take a walk to see the beauty of the tourist attractions,” said the Regional Secretary of Solo, Ahyani, Thursday (6/5/2021).

Tourists from Jakarta are also allowed to come to Solo if they have an Entry and Exit Permit (SIKM)
During the Lebaran 2021 holiday, tourist destinations in Solo are also allowed to continue operating, but there are several restrictions imposed.
“Tourist attractions may be open but regular ones. There should be no mass gathering events,” said Ahyani, who is also the Executive Chair of the Solo Covid-19 Task Force.
In addition, the maximum number of visitors is 50 percent of normal capacity and it is mandatory to implement more stringent health protocols.

Meanwhile, the Head of UPT Taman Balekambang Solo Sumeh said, Taman Balaikambang still operates during the Lebaran 2021 holiday by implementing health protocols.
“Later there will be a Bakdan Ing Balekambang event during the Lebaran holidays,” he said.
According to him, visitors who enter will be arranged so that there is no crowd in the park.
Visitors who enter Balekambang Park will be limited to around 500 people per session.
“Bakdan Ing Balekambang will share several sessions. It will open at 09.00 WIB until 11.00 WIB. Then at 12.00 WIB until 14.00 WIB. Visitors enter using tickets but it’s free,” he said.

Furthermore, Sumeh added, visitors who enter Balekambang must apply strict procedures by wearing masks.
According to him, visitors to children under the age of five, pregnant women and the elderly (seniors) are not allowed to enter Balekambang Park.
“We expect Balekambang Park visitors to be around Solo and its surroundings,” explained Sumeh.
