Gibran about Staying at a PDIP School: Getting Closer to Seniors

Jakarta

Wali Kota Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka admitted that this was the first time he had stayed with hundreds of regional heads at the PDI Perjuangan School, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta. He used this opportunity to get closer to seniors, regents, and mayors of other PDI-P cadres.

“I just came here, I don’t know who the friends above are. What is clear is that this activity is a moment of getting closer, introducing other seniors, regents, and mayors. Exchanging ideas and absorbing knowledge,” said Gibran in his statement, Thursday (16). /6/2022).

Gibran said he was preparing to attend this coordination meeting. The next day, Gibran will take part in the morning gymnastics held by the party.

“Tonight until 10 o’clock. Tomorrow around 6 am exercise in the morning,” he said.

The exercise in question is the Love of the Fatherland Gymnastics or what is familiarly abbreviated as Sicita. This exercise was introduced by the DPP PDIP for campaigning, especially to cadres throughout Indonesia.

Question how Sicita’s rhythmic gymnastics, Gibran said he would enjoy. Follow a gym instructor. After that, Gibran together with hundreds of regional heads will receive presentations from speakers on the second day of the Coordination Meeting.

“I haven’t done gymnastics yet. Tomorrow just follow“he said with a smile.

Denpasar Mayor Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara whose bed was not far from Gibran when he saw Gibran’s arrival immediately asked for a photo opportunity. Jaya Negara is quite senior and has attended cadre education in 2002 in Kupang.

“Now the situation is better. This will leave a good impression. There is no barrier between governors, mayors and regents. All are cadres who are receiving education,” said Jaya Negara.

Shortly after taking a photo with Gibran and Jaya Negara, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto made an inspection of the room. And suddenly the atmosphere in the room became more lively atmosphere.

“Mas Gibran, this is the history of Megawati, in 93 her bed was like this, so let me remind you that it is the duty of a leader to move to help the people. The leader is not a ruler, an official, but a figure who understands the people. We thank you Mas Gibran and the regional head living in here. This builds solidarity,” said Hasto to Gibran and a number of regional heads who approached Gibran’s bed when they saw Hasto come.

How Mas Gibran sleeping in the barracks?” asked Hasto.

“Exciting, sir,” replied Gibran with a big smile.

In response to that, Hasto said regional heads need to feel this way because the situation is much more comfortable than in Megawati’s era.

“If someone snores in here first,” said Hasto while covering his nose. Inevitably, the regional heads laughed.
