This Monday the qualifying groups for the Qatar 2022 World Cup were drawn, where the Gibraltar team entered Pot 6 along with teams with a very low FIFA coefficient such as Malta, San Marino, Liechtenstein and Moldova.
Julio Ribas’ team will have one of the most attractive groups against the Netherlands, Turkey, Norway, Montenegro and Latvia, teams that from March 2021 will pass through the Victoria Stadium in a roundtrip qualifying format.
THIS IS WHAT THE TEN GROUPS HAVE BEEN:
Group A: Portugal, Serbia, Ireland, Luxembourg and Azerbaijan.
B Group: Spain, Sweden, Greece, Georgia and Kosovo.
Group C: Italy, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria and Lithuania.
Group D: France, Ukraine, Finland, Bosnia Herzegovina and Kazakhstan.
Group E: Belgium, Wales, Czech Republic, Belarus and Estonia.
Group F: Denmark, Austria, Scotland, Israel, the Faroe Islands and Moldova.
Group G: Netherlands, Turkey, Norway, Montenegro, Latvia and Gibraltar.
Group H: Croatia, Slovakia, Russia, Slovenia, Cyprus and Malta.
Group I: England, Poland, Hungary, Albania, Andorra and San Marino.
