Giant shadow spotted! NASA shared: The event that surprised the scientific world

Jupiter, which is the fifth largest planet in the Solar system in terms of its distance from the Sun, consists largely of hydrogen and helium gases. Scientists continue to study this planet closely. The Juno spacecraft, launched by NASA in 2011, revolves around Jupiter and sends various information about the planet to Earth.

The Juno spacecraft, which NASA sent to study Jupiter, imaged the striking shadow cast by Ganymede on the planet. Juno is also studying the composition, ionosphere, magnetosphere, and ice crust of the planet’s largest moon, Ganymede, as well as gathering information that could guide future spacecraft to probe Jupiter’s moons.
