Giant strawberry formed from several fruits

According to the researcher who developed this variety, the strawberry season was late this year due to the cold weather. Therefore, several berries grew together into one large fruit.

In Israel, the Ariel farming family has grown the world’s largest strawberry. The berry broke the record for its size and was listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Israel News reports.

The giant strawberry was grown on a plantation in the agricultural community of Kadima Tsoran in the Central District of Israel.

The fruit weighing 289 g with a circumference of 34 cm belongs to the Ilan variety. It was first brought out by the scientist Nir Dai from the Agricultural Research Organization under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Jewish State and was personally present at the weighing of strawberries.

It is noted that farmers in 2022 grew four large strawberries.

Recall that earlier experts called the main rules when choosing strawberries.
