SANTO DOMINGO.– The president of the Wrinkled Hands Foundation, Gianni Paulino, requests that when the theaters in the country reopen, a special price be offered to those over 65 years of age.
In a letter addressed to the Minister of Culture of the Dominican Republic, Carmen Heredia, the president of the Fundación Mano Arrugadas, stated that “artistic presentations feed elderly people a healthy emotional intelligence, allow them to identify mentally and emotionally with the characters on stage, it invites them to live, understand and perceive a reality different from their own, which is why it becomes a window of escape and distraction that allows them to leave their homes and connect with others in an artistic and inspiring environment ” .
