Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to write history

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a triple-double in a third straight game, a first in Milwaukee Bucks history, helping his team win 133-122 over the Wizards in Washington on Monday.

The “Greek Freak” dominated his teammates in all offensive categories with 31 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. He thus allowed the Bucks to taste victory for the fourth time in a row and for the seventh time in as many games against the Wizards.

The only downside to Antetokounmpo was Bradley Beal ahead of him with 37 points despite the losing cause. His team started a late comeback in the fourth quarter, but it was ultimately the Bucks’ first half (69 points against 55) that made the difference.

It continues for the Pistons

In Detroit, the San Antonio Spurs suffered a fourth straight loss to the Pistons, who lost the game by a score of 109-99.

Michigan’s representatives have only won just one of their last eight matches.

The Pistons could not benefit enough from the decline of the Spurs in the fourth quarter, they who scored only 14 points.

Six visiting players reached the 10-point plateau in this game and it was Dejounte Murray (19 points) who led his team.

Ascent for the Hornets

In Charlotte, the Hornets rallied in the final 12 minutes to defeat the Sacramento Kings 122-116.

James Borrego’s men were consistent throughout the game, even though they were trailing 16 points at halftime. It was especially in the fourth quarter that the Hornets confirmed their victory, scoring 31 points against only 20 for their opponents.

Terry Rozier and Gordon Hayward led the winners with 26 and 25 points respectively. Young LaMelo Ball also did well with 16 points.
