When you come out of the surgery you are paralyzed from the waist down and for a year and a half things are difficult. I had to do everything from scratch, walk, everything. He didn’t leave me a dime.
At first you take sedatives and antidepressants. I live with a permanent numbness and this is like a permanent disability.
I would like to talk and help people about invisible disabilities because they are more insidious.
