MELPIGNANO-For the first time in the history of the Notte della Taranta festival, the stage is not visible from afar because the public, in the year of Covid, is not there. Impossible to get hundreds of thousands of people to Melpignano. The show will therefore be television only, with a closed door recording, in an evocative atmosphere. In the unusual solitary location of the former Augustinian convent, the voices and the orchestra directed by the concertmaster Paolo Buonvino, the narrating voice of Sergio Rubini, and that of the guests, who once again confront themselves with the tradition and music of the Salento: Gianna Nannini, Mahmood and Diodato.
Last night the three evenings of recording of the Concertone 2020, which will be broadcast on RAI 2 on 28 August at 22:50, ended.
