The Italian goalkeeper is ready to welcome his potential colleague, who will soon officially join
Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is “excited” at the arrival of Barcelona legend Lionel Messi to the Parc des Princes.
The Italian goalkeeper himself is a new recruit for Les Parisiens, the Euro 2020 champion following Georginio Wijnaldum and Sergio Ramos who moved to Paris on a free transfer.
Achraf Hakimi was also bought from Inter Milan, but these names would lose the shine when Messi finally signed a two-year contract with PSG after the Blaugrana officially wasn’t renewed.

Donnarumma spoke to Sky Sport Italy on Messi’s arrival to Paris: “We’ll soon find out if it’s official or not, but it looks like it’s official, and I’m very happy that Leo is here.”
“He’s the best player in the world, I can’t contain my excitement. It’s an honor to play with him.”
Once inaugurated by PSG, for the first time in his senior career Messi will change clubs.
So is Donnarumma, who left AC Milan after eight years at the San Siro and has made 251 appearances despite being only 22 years old.
He chose not to extend his tenure at the club that gave him his debut at the age of 16, and chose to join PSG and said he felt at home in a star-studded squad.
