“I am back,” Buffon said in a video presentation in which he posed with his old Parma jersey in one of the gates at Enni Tardini’s stadium.
Buffon caught Parma in 1995-2001. He later worked twice at Juventus (2001-2018, 2019-2021), capturing one season in Paris Saint-Germain. His collection includes ten championship titles with Juventus and the title of world champion in 2006. However, he never won the Champions League, he was in the finals three times with Juventus. He won the UEFA Cup with Parma in 1999.
In the new season, Parma will not perform in Serie A after it dropped out of the top competition in the first year under the baton of new owners from the USA.
