However, he achieved his greatest success after moving to Juventus, in whose jersey he dominated the Italian top flight ten times, adding to that the second division triumph from the year 2006/07 and a number of other trophies. The legendary goalkeeper for the “Old Lady” played in 685 games in all competitions and kept a clean sheet 322 times. He left for PSG before the 2018/19 season, but returned after just one year.

Buffon has a record 176 starts for the Italian national team, which he significantly helped to win the 2006 World Cup. In 1996, he celebrated the triumph at the European Under-21 Championship.
