Gianluigi Buffon and Juventus Split at the End of this Season

Gianluigi Buffon will not renew his contract in Juventus. The veteran goalkeeper decided to part with Bianconeri at the end of this season.

Buffon’s contract with Juventus expires in June 2021. The 43-year-old goalkeeper has played 12 times with the Old Lady in all competitions since the start of the 2020/2021 season.

Citing a report Football Italia, Buffon is not interested in increasing the duration of his tenure at Allianz Stadium. He expressed his desire to part with Juventus when his contract expires.

“My future is clear and definite. A wonderful and long experience with Juve will end this year,” he said Gianluigi Buffon, reported from Football Italia.

“Whether I will quit or find a situation that motivates me to play, or have a different experience, I will consider it,” he added.
