The Peruvian singer-songwriter, musician and music producer Gian Marco Zignago, who has more than 30 years of artistic career, 17 albums and three Latin Grammy awards, is ready to conquer new stages in Canada.

In a recent interview, the artist shared his aspirations to expand his music in this country, highlighting his desire to play in cities like Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary, where the Latin community continues to grow and the region’s music is well received.

Although he clarified that he has already had the opportunity to perform in Montreal on several occasions and in that square he has been received with enthusiasm, especially by Peruvians and the Latin community in general, he confesses that he would love to perform in places like Vancouver, and explore markets like Toronto and Calgary with his band.

“I have always received a great reception, and I would love to continue connecting with that audience in other parts of the country.”

He added that for him music is more than a career: it is a passion and his way of life. “Like many artists, I aspire to bring my music to as many countries as possible. “I consider myself lucky to be able to live doing what I love,” he said.

One of his biggest hits, Hoy, recorded by Gloria Estefan, he said is a song that defines both his career and his identity. “It is a song that talks about the nostalgia of missing one’s homeland,” he explained.
