The Games Awards is getting closer and closer, that is why we are looking forward to meeting the winners of the various categories of games. As we know, one of the categories that we find within the ceremony is the “Players Voice”, where the community chooses the game to win. Now then, it has been marked that, for the gamer community, Game of the Year is none other than Ghost of Tsushima, but there is a story behind it.

As Geoff Keighley himself, general producer of The Games Awards, has revealed, Ghost of Tsushima has been chosen as the favorite winner. Despite the news, a few days ago the game that was dominating this category was The Last of Us 2, due to this various groups organized themselves so that the title does not win. Now then, with a landslide victory the title takes the crown of the GOTY in the section of the “Voice of the Players”.
Despite this, the various winners in the various strongest categories within the ceremony remain to be known. It seems that a large part of the gamer community does not want to see The Last of US a winner within the various categories of the ceremony.
