Ghost of Tsushima breaks PS4 sales record

Ghost of Tsushima is now PS4’s fastest selling first-party original IP debut with more than 2.4 million units sold through globally in its first 3 days of sales.

Admittedly, it is not as much as the 4 million Last of Us Part II in a weekend, but for a brand new platform-exclusive franchise, that’s a new record.

By way of comparison, Horizon Zero Dawn had, for its part, elapsed approximately 2.6 million copies… in two weeks!

We can therefore say that the last big exclusivity of the PS4 (unless it was a surprise) has managed to impose itself in the hearts of players, as well as that of several reviews, even at the end of the generation.
