Ghost of Tsushima, actor is moved by seeing himself in the game

A very nice episode occurred on Twitch a few days ago, although it remained hidden among the millions of streams that crowd the platform every day.

The actor Earl T. Kim began streaming a full run of Ghost of Tsushima, a game in which he took part in playing a character

Kim loaned features, movements and voice to Norio, a monk whom the protagonist Jin Sakai meets towards the middle of the story and who represents one of the closest companions of the hero, even having a side questline dedicated.

Sooner or later it had to happen, and that’s how the actor met his digital alter ego in the game last week.

His reaction was unexpected though, as the video below, shared by a fan on Reddit, demonstrates.

Initially, Kim sees herself on the screen and laughs, making fun of herself: “Look at that weird guy who bows”, you can hear it.

At one point, after hearing some of his lines spoken in front of Jin, his tone changes radically and begins to be moved.

Holding back the tears, she added “I’m sorry guys, this is really cool”, perhaps surprised by the emotions evoked by the game, probably thinking back to the moments he spent during the making.

Certainly a moment of great humanity, and it doesn’t happen that often to see actors who meet their characters and share their emotions so directly.

Speaking of surprising moments, just last week was announced Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, a co-op multiplayer spin-off that will be free for owners of the original game.

If you haven’t already made it yours, you can still purchase Ghost of Tsushima ad a discounted price on Amazon.
