“In recent years I presented RadiOlympia on NPO Radio 1 during the Olympic Games and I really enjoyed that. I love the dynamics and intensity in the sport, but also the stories of the athletes,” says Ghislaine in a press statement. “It’s often all or nothing, you never know how broadcasts will go and I love that quick switching and improvising. So I’m really looking forward to making more sports broadcasts, especially iconic programs like Along the line in Studio Sport.”
Gert-Jaap Hoekman, editor-in-chief of NOS Sport, says he is ‘happy and proud’ that Ghislaine is joining him. “Ghislaine brings a positive energy everywhere she goes. Moreover, she is very good at putting herself in the public’s shoes and is able to make topics clear and understandable for everyone. We are therefore very much looking forward to the collaboration.”
At the end of last year, Ghislaine stopped as presenter of the NPO Radio 1 program Speech makers, where she worked for six years. She received the Marconi Oeuvre Award for her radio work in January.
