Ghislaine Maxwell convicted of sex crimes by New York court

Former British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty on Wednesday by a New York court of a series of sex crimes, including that of trafficking underage girls between 1994 and 2004.

Ms Maxwell, 60, had been tried since the end of November in Manhattan federal court on six counts, in particular that of providing minors to her former companion, the American financier Jeffrey Epstein who died in prison in 2019, for that he sexually abuses it.
