GGD starts investigation into German corona patient, new infections in Tenerife

In the German municipality of Selfkant, just across the border from Sittard, a man is infected with the corona virus. According to the RIVM, he visited Limburg last week. The GGD therefore starts an investigation to map who has been in contact with the man.

The man is 47 years old. He was admitted with a lung infection, his condition is critical.

The health of the people who have had contact with the man in Limburg is checked. They are isolated in the event of complaints. The RIVM did not disclose exactly where the man was staying in Limburg.
