GGD: Number of corona infections continues to rise in Groningen
Groningen – The number of corona infections in the municipality of Groningen has increased again over the past 24 hours. According to the RIVM, 36.5 out of 100,000 inhabitants have now tested positive for the virus. Says Oogtv.nl
This means that according to the figures, 85 people are now infected in Groningen. Friday there were eighty. This continues the slight increase in recent days compared to earlier in the week when the infection rate increased much faster. However, the GGD warns that the figures are only a thermometer. Because not everyone is tested anymore, the actual number of cases may actually be much higher.
Nationally, 93 people have died in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of deaths to 639. The number of patients who have been hospitalized or have been hospitalized increases by 454 to 2,954. A total of 9,762 cases of infection are now known. This is an increase of 1,159 compared to Friday.
