GGD Fryslân today started vaccinating teachers in practical education with residual vaccines. The measure should offer a solution for teachers who find it difficult to perform their work when they always have to observe the one and a half meter limit.
They will be placed on a special residual vaccine list with vaccines left over at the end of the day. The GGD initially made the list available to people in vulnerable health who were not yet eligible for a vaccine because of their age.
This group has now been largely vaccinated. Fryslân has eight vaccination locations where there are between zero and ten vaccines available per location on a daily basis. There are eight secondary schools in the province that offer practical training.
