The semi-finals are just around the corner for the three remaining teams of “71 degrees north – team”. But before another team has to pack their bags for good and leave the reality competition, the teams get a surprise from presenter Tom Stiansen (52).
In Sunday’s episode, the teams will get help from each of their guests on the upcoming stage. The teams have to go through a food competition and are therefore visited by their respective food influencers.

Hockey boys Anders Myrvold (47) and Martin Laumann Ylven (34) get a surprise visit from influencer Emilie Nereng (27). She has taken part in the reality competition before and reveals what it was like to be on tour with the hockey boys.
Knew little about the tour partners
Nereng told Nettavisen that it was great to participate as a guest in the programme. She has participated in the “71 degrees north” concept before and therefore entered with a lot of energy.
– I was finally going to be part of “71 degrees north” for the first time in eight years, so I was looking forward to it enormously. In general, I’m very adventurous and love to cook, so I knew that this would be a cool experience anyway, says Nereng.
Nereng did not know much about her traveling companion other than what she had been told by their mutual friend, Jan Tore Kjær.
Kjær is a former director of Vålerenga Ishockey, where both Ylven and Myrvold have played, and knows the boys well. Nereng and Kjær, on the other hand, know each other from when they both participated in “Shall we dance” in 2019.
According to Nereng, she had only heard positive things about the two hockey boys.

Despite the fact that Nereng had not met the hockey boys before, she says that she enjoyed their company. According to the influencer, she felt like “part of the guys” right away – which she thought was very nice.
Anders Myrvold tells Nettavisen that it was good to get Nereng into the group after being on tour for a long time.
– It was quite refreshing to get Emilie into the group. There is no hiding the fact that we had been traveling together overland, so getting a new voice and new energy only created more energy, says Myrvold and adds that Nereng is a very pleasant person.
Overignition
In Sunday’s episode, there is apparently a good atmosphere within the group, but there is no hiding that there was a difference in their energy levels.
Because while Nereng obviously comes in as a breath of fresh air in the group and is ready to go, the hockey boys are somewhat more tired of their surroundings.
– I will come in with a lot of energy and a bit of overheating when I finally make a “comeback” at 71 degrees north after eight years. The boys, on the other hand, have been walking in the rain and sleeping outside every single day for many weeks, so the contrast was probably a little visible, she says with a laugh.

Myrvold also points out the clear contrast:
– She had a complete over-ignition, she was completely leaning forward and was tripping, so we thought it was a bit funny. We were quite tired after working hard that night in Røros, and in addition lying in bed for almost three weeks, he says and adds:
– So when she comes freshly showered with fresh hiking clothes and ready to go hiking, it’s clear that we were at a different stage, he says with a laugh.

During Sunday’s episode, however, you don’t get to see how the actual food competition ends. However, Nereng can reveal that the collaboration went very well.
– Our collaboration generally went very well, since they let me take responsibility for the food, and they were given responsibility for the map and stage., she says and adds:
– I like having specific areas of responsibility to deal with, then I am at my best!
