Gétigné. The convention is growing

It’s been 4 years since the K-pop collective November created Asobi, an event dedicated to Asian culture. This year, the broad exploration of everything that constitutes its particularities, and its appeal of this culture, took place from October 25 to 27. This year the convention which took place at the Salle Bellevue saw even more stands, partners, we were able to find brand new activities such as tarukinuta (drum), dubbing, karaoke, tufting (creation of carpets). ), sewing as well, always in a spirit of initiation and active participation, explains Elena Iwaniszyn, member of the Asobi team.

Shows around cosplay, K-pop dance and yosakoi

The shows, as in previous editions, thrilled us with cosplay, yosakoi (a unique style of dance from Japan, editor’s note), and K-pop dance. We had a little fewer visitors this year, 300 compared to 550 in 2023. This will not prevent Asobi enthusiasts from returning next year, with new ideas. The next edition will be spread over two days, and we are working on it, to offer new surprises to visitors, she enthuses.
