This is what Scribblenauts is about: The basic gameplay idea of Scribblenauts is as simple as it is ingenious: you solve problems with words. More specifically, main character Maxwell has a magical notebook and whatever he writes in it becomes reality.
So we go out to help people with their problems. We can solve tasks directly or let our creativity run wild. If a cat is caught in a tree, for example, we use the word “fireman” to conjure up – you can imagine – a firefighter who will quickly cut down the tree. Or we can simply give the kitten wings so that it can glide down on its own.
We don’t have to fight monsters, instead we just give them the adjective “dead” and they fall over on their own. And if we just want to cause a little mischief instead of being helpful, that is also possible without any problems. Who hasn’t wanted to summon Mario and Bowser to engage in a fierce battle to the death?
The only restriction here is swear words and brand names. You also have to accept a few errors in the German translation.
Finally, the bundle also offers a mode for two players. The second person can take on the role of an object created by Maxwell on the screen.
