It’s a very competitive competition in New York, and you were more than 1600 to participate in the selection of the 13 finalists… thank you! The best croissant 2023 will be chosen on Sunday March 19, at the 5th&MAD in Manhattanin front of a jury of professional chefs and with you.
The bakeries you have chosen will present their pastries and you will be able to go from stand to stand, taste the croissants, and elect the best of them by awarding the Fan Prize. Our judges, a jury made up of professional chefs, will award the Grand Prix, after blind tasting all the croissants. The judges are chefs Miriam Milord (founder of BcakeNY), Alexia Duchêne, Eunji Lee (owner of Lysée) and pastry chef Orlando Soto (Le Bernardin).
