Reporting from the BBC, Tuesday (17/1/2023), the video suddenly went viral in India. The video shows one of the passengers, Sonu Jaiswal, live-streaming Yeti Airlines’ last moments before the crash.

The video shows the area around Pokhara Airport from the plane before landing. Those on board do not realize that they will soon meet their death.

Sonu Jaiswal, was one of four passengers from Ghazipur, India who visited Nepal. They boarded a plane from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Some villagers remember the four men as people with “kind and compassionate souls”. They said they were devastated by the tragedy in the families of the four men.

Some of them also joined the protest, demanding compensation for the families of the victims.

The four men are thought to be in their 20s or early 30s. They have been friends with each other for years and often spend time together.

Locals said the four men went to Nepal on January 13 to visit the Pashupatinath Temple, a large temple on the outskirts of Kathmandu dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.

The trip was reportedly the idea of Jaiswal – a father of three. He wanted to pray in the temple for one more son.

After visiting the temple, the four men left on Sunday (15/01) for Pokhara – a tourist town located near the Annapurna Mountains – for paragliding. They plan to return to Kathmandu.

“But fate had other plans for him,” an unnamed relative of Jaiswal told news agency PTI.

Apart from the four men, there was one more Indian on board. Local officials said 53 of the passengers were Nepalese, four from Russia and two from South Korea. The other four passengers each came from Ireland, Australia, Argentina and France.
