Provide additional hygiene
Especially in winter we are much more susceptible to various viruses. Flu and cold, you can hardly ignore them. You can’t be completely prevented from getting infected by others, but you can somehow limit the chances of this happening. Wash your hands very often when you are often with other people. Air regularly, preferably every day, the environments in which you work and live. This ensures that there is enough fresh air in which to ward off the viruses that roam around.
Eat healthy
Healthy nutrition is always important, but it is even more important in winter. A sufficient amount of fresh fruits and vegetables ensures that your stamina remains at the right level. Squeeze oranges, take a vegetable smoothie, and eat carrots as a snack in between. There are many ways to get the necessary vitamin C on a daily basis. Still need more support? Ask your pharmacist or pharmacist to take vitamin C supplements. This also applies to vitamin D. Since the sun shines much less in winter, your skin hardly produces vitamin D. You can also take a supplement to solve this deficiency.
keep moving
During the winter time it is really tempting to curl up under a blanket on the sofa and watch a series on Netflix. But as tempting as it may sound, you go out so much. Walk or cycle, preferably every day. If you find it difficult to motivate yourself to go alone, make arrangements with others to do it together. Don’t like getting wet from hail, snow or rain? leave then print umbrellas. And you can easily brave the winter cold by dressing warmly. Then leave a printed sweater so you are not cold. And you know, after the bike ride or on foot it is best to indulge yourself with a hot cup of milk chocolate with whipped cream. Is not beautiful?
do fun things
You can do fun things to quell the winter blues. Go to the gym with friends, a day of wellness or a nice dinner combined with a swinging evening at the disco. There are many things to think about to get rid of that gloomy feeling. Before you know it it will be spring again and you will still be full of energy!
