Earbuds comfortable to wear
The OnePlus Nord Buds offer finishes similar to those of the OnePlus Buds Pro with a matte black imitation metal plastic. Once in the ear canal, they are discreet with their short and wide stems. They are also rather comfortable to wear and are quickly forgotten with 4.82 g on the scale. They do not cause any discomfort, even during a long listening session. You can even use them in the rain since they are IP55 certified, therefore resistant to drops, splashes and perspiration.
If the brand promises 7 hours of autonomy, during our test, they lasted 6:45. As for the case, it allows a total of 30 hours of listening. The earphones will be able to give you almost 5 hours of playback after just 10 minutes of charging. Please note that the case is not compatible with wireless charging.
Provides the essentials
Unlike the second version, the OnePlus Nord Buds do not have active noise reduction. However, thanks to their silicone tips, these true wireless provide good passive isolation in the vast majority of cases without pushing the volume.
For the audio part, the Nord Buds stand out by offering dynamic titanium transducers 12.4 mm in diameter, when others are content with 10 mm transducers. Result: the OnePlus Nord Buds offer a sound rich in bass and midrange even if we can regret a lack of sharpness in the treble. They are only compatible with SBC and AAC codecs, and do not offer multipoint Bluetooth.
