Get the Covid-19 vaccine while grocery shopping now available

Users of the Open Plaza shopping center will have the opportunity to shop and catch up on their Regular Scheme and covid-19 vaccines, thanks to the vaccination points that the Ministry of Health (Minsa) implemented in three Lima and one in Huancayo, reported the Health sector.

In Atocongo, the vaccination brigades will be from Thursday to Sunday; in Angamos and La Marina every Saturday and Sunday; while in Huancayo from Monday to Sunday. In all cases the hours of attention will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

María Elena Martínez Barrera, executive director of Immunizations at Minsa, specified that the Regular Scheme vaccines will be offered at all vaccination points: against poliomyelitis, diphtheria, tetanus, measles, chickenpox, pneumococcus, among others; as well as all doses against covid-19.

“The Minsa seeks more alliances to bring vaccination closer to the population and offer the Regular Scheme vaccines that prevent polio, measles, diphtheria, among others, including doses against covid-19. We invite more public and private institutions to join in the promotion of vaccination”, said Martínez.

For her part, Rosemarie Ríos, Head of Brand and Sustainability at Open Plaza, highlighted the coordination with the Minsa since as a private company they become allies of public health.

“We offer safe spaces so that people can come to get vaccinated. We invite the community to come to our spaces since vaccines that protect against various diseases will be offered ”, she indicated.
