Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Oil and gas contractor issuer, PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO), obtained a contract value of US$ 265 million or Rp. 3.79 trillion, assuming an exchange rate of Rp. 14,300 per US$.
These types of contracts are in the form of mining service agreements and equipment rental agreements with a period of 4 years.
Petrosea’s Corporate Secretary, Anto Broto said that the company will be the party to manage the project and PT Karya Bhumi Lestari, a subsidiary, will be the contractor.
Meanwhile, PT Hardaya Mining Energy and PT Central Cipta Murdaya as clients and providers of payment guarantees for payment obligations to PT Karya Bhumi Lestari and the company.
Currently, the company and its subsidiaries have no affiliation with PT Hardaya Mining Energy and PT Central Cipta Murdaya.
“The acquisition of the contract will provide additional income and strengthen the company’s financial condition,” said Anto Broto, in an information disclosure, Tuesday (12/10/2021).
For information, currently Petrosea is still controlled by PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) with a share ownership of 69.80%.
The well-known investor Lo Kheng Hong has a 15.01% share ownership and the remaining 13.50% are public shareholders and 1.68% treasury shares.
This Tuesday, the stock price of the issuer codenamed PTRO was observed to have strengthened by 9.52% to a level of Rp 2,760 per share with a market capitalization value of Rp 2.78 trillion.
Not long ago, Lo Kheng Hong (LKH) officially sold all of its 107,012,600 shares (6.115%) in the shipping logistics company, PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk. (MBSS), along with the sales made by PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY).
Meanwhile, LKH will still hold PTRO shares going forward. Moreover, PTRO has also distributed dividends and LKH will receive dividends of Rp. 17.41 billion.
PTRO distributed cash dividends for the financial year 2020 period of US$ 8 million or equivalent to Rp 112 billion (assuming an exchange rate of US$ 1 = Rp 14,000) for the financial year 2020 with a dividend value per share of US$ 0.00807.
This cash dividend amounted to around 24.78% of PTRO’s total net profit throughout 2020 which was US$ 32.28 million (Rp 451.92 billion). Dividends distributed are equivalent to Rp 115 per share.
When asked about PTRO’s shares, LKH replied, “It’s still on hold, sir,” said LKH, Friday morning (27/8).
