Another method that will help you wean yourself off sweets is to not snack. The fact is that we often consume foods that contain sugar between main meals. In this case, you should completely avoid snacks and consume sweets only after you have eaten a main meal rich in protein and fiber. The secret is that you will not want to eat sugar – because you have already received energy.

The next life hack is to distract yourself. Sweets cause a rush of endorphins, so you need to do something that has a similar effect on the body. For example, walking, jogging and playing sports are also a source of happiness hormones, only longer lasting and without harm to health.

And the last way is to sleep more. Sugar is a source of fast carbohydrates and we reach for it when we feel low on energy or lack of sleep. Studies show that those who increase the duration of sleep by an hour every day (until the norm is reached, of course) begin to eat less sweets than those who go to sleep after midnight and get up late (or too early).
