SALEM, Pray. – If storms caused your trees or shrubs to fall or generated debris, there is help.

There are several places that are accepting fallen branches and other debris.

MARION / POLK COUNTIES:

Salem Area:

Brown’s Island Compost Facility: They can dispose of woody debris at no cost.

Geer Park – 241 Geer Dr. NE

McKay Park – 2755 Hollywood Dr. NE

Salem-Keizer and North Marion Transfer Stations – * Update: North Marion Transfer Station is temporarily closed while PGE works in the area. Residents can dispose of woody debris from the storm free of charge.

Wallace Marine Park – 200 Glen Creek Rd NW

Woodmansee Park – 4629 Sunnyside Rd SE

Independence:

A limb-only place has been established at the Sports Complex on Deann Drive for residents who can load and drop limbs. If you have any questions or concerns, please call 503-838-4781.

Monmouth:

There are several local businesses that accept storm debris. Be sure to check out the Monmouth, Oregon city government Facebook page for updates and additional information.

Silverton:

Oregon Garden – 879 W Main St., Silverton

Tornero:

5203 Holly Street – Open from dawn to dusk, please leave debris in neat piles in the parking lot – only branches 5 “in diameter or less, no logs.

Woodburn:

Legion Park (rear of park) – 1385 Park Ave., Woodburn

CONDADOS DE MULTNOMAH / CLACKAMAS / WASHINGTON:

Fairview:

Allwood Recyclers – 22800 NE Marine Drive, Fairview, Oregon 97024

Wilsonville:

Wilsonville Transit Center: Starting Wednesday, residents and business operators can dispose of tree limbs and debris at no cost. From February 17 to February 25, a drop-off location will open daily, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Wilsonville Transit Center on Barber St.
