Although the Enyaq iV is presented as a revolutionary codec, in one breath the carmaker is trying to show that it is a full-fledged car that can be used without worries. That’s why the company has prepared the entire ecocode iV ecosystem, which, among other things, makes it easier for users to charge their electric car.
The Enyaq iV is a very important model for the Auto code, mainly because carmakers today simply have to sell electric cars. Without them, they can practically not meet the emission limits. That’s why we talk about it a lot as a revolutionary car, which foreshadows the future of the carmaker.
On the other hand, the dream character from the user’s point of view does not pay off for the customer. Enyaq iV should appeal to a large user, including one who has not yet considered electromobility. All that is needed is to get rid of his fear of electric cars, and therefore especially from my monch sweat.
Slow and fast
This fear has two levels directly related to the capacity of the battery and the range of the car, the other to the overall infrastructure for recharging the electric car. As for the hardware, the Enyaq iV will be available with a total battery capacity, but in the Czech Republic, customers will be able to buy models with only two capacities.
In some markets, Enyaq will therefore be available with a basic battery with a nominal capacity of 55 kWh (52 kWh usable) and an electric motor with an output of 109 kW with a total range of 340 kilometers. Among other things, this version also has limited options for recharging. The current can be charged in this way with a power of 2.3 (bn socket) and 7.2 kW, the power of 11 kW (wallbox or charging station) is reserved and carried out with a battery.
It is similar with the DC charging with which the fast charging station works. Here, the Enyaq 50 iV, as the basic version is called, can only handle 50 kW of power, which prolongs the eventual charging time.
This may be one of the reasons why this implementation will be offered only in some markets: either where electromobility is completely in its infancy and markets are relatively poor and pioneers there will be willing to accept restrictions, or you, where the market is developed. and the customers of such a car want you as a kind of vehicle, which ran a kilometer and slowly conquered them richly.
In the Czech Republic, where the fear of electric cars and their range is still relatively high (and due to the quality of the infrastructure and the walls rightly), such a version would probably not make much sense.
For our customers, therefore, as the lowest option of the Enyaq 60 iV variant with a battery with a nominal capacity of 62 kWh (58 usable), which can be fully charged with direct current and power and 100 kW can be used for fast chargers. This version has a range of 390 kilometers.
Then the offer features a battery with a capacity of 82 kWh (77 usable): the Enyaq 80 iV model with rear-wheel drive offers a range of 510 kilometers, variants Enyaq 80x iV and RS iV with an output of 195 and 225 kW and all-wheel drive then promise range 460 kilometers.
These designs make them particularly fast-powered with maximum power and 125 kW, and the promise of replenishing the battery from 10 to 80% capacity in about 40 minutes is therefore valid. For Type 60 iV with less battery and only slightly less power, it will be similar.
you for the elective
To make the car as convenient as possible for customers, the code has prepared several different units. They will be able to buy a total of three types of wallboxes from the carmaker, but in the Czech Republic there will not be the stock (which would be available to households) on offer. Customers will be able to see the koda iV Charger Connect wallbox here, which can be connected to the Internet at home using a Wi-Fi or LAN cable and the process of charging can be monitored comfortably through the koda Connect application.
Wallbox also has an RFID ip flow, which is used to authorize the user, it is also usable for companies, the authorization prevents unauthorized pumping of electricity. The type of wallbox that will be available with us will be the iV Charger Connect + code, which also has the option of a mobile connection via an operator and, in addition to a certified electricity meter, the company will be able to make available to other users and thus use the energy consumed. With the help of the wallbox, the car can be charged depending on the battery capacity in six hours.
For the journey, however, the main thing is to recharge the infrastructure as such. koda undertook to develop it, for example through its dealers. In general, it is true that the carmaker will be involved in the construction of the European conquest of Ionita.
Ionity is a good eenm for electric cars, but it doesn’t have to be everywhere yet. That’s why the code has prepared the Mykoda Powerpass service, in which a user with one authorized card and one will be able to charge their form in all different providers.
The carmaker boasts that thanks to this the user will be able to get out of a total of 195,000 charging stations in the EU. Which specific provider will support Powerpass, but the carmaker has not yet published. I have time, the service can be started with the first of the first cars and they will reach the customers at the earliest after five years.
It is certain that the customers pay for the top-up Powerpass aid nicely at once, once per month they simply come from the carmaker for a top-up in all four different providers.
