Get ready, the Bikini Ski Festival is Held in 2 Months!

Jakarta

The Sheregesh ski resort in Russia is again holding its annual Grelka Fest. An unusual festival in a snowy area, dubbed the craziest festival in the world.

The resort is in the Kamerovo region of the Altai Mountains. The festival is unusual in that the agenda consists of bikini skiing. Since being held in 2013, the festival has been held at the end of the winter season. This year, the agenda will be held for ten days, from 13-23 April 2023.

Like when skiing on a stretch of snowy mountains, festival participants wear skating footwear costumes and winter hats or helmets to make it safer. However, the stark difference was, they weren’t wearing ski suits, but were wearing bikinis. Yes, just a bikini without wearing thick clothes.

Even though it’s snowing, the air temperature is not as cold as in mid-winter, which is around 5 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius. The air temperature at that level is relatively warm for Russian citizens. Soparticipants will not freeze even though they are scantily clad.

Participants in the festival are not limited to Russian citizens only, but are open to tourists all over the world. In previous years, the festival was enlivened by participants from the United States, European countries and China.

The number of participants is not only in the hundreds, but until more attacks. And, the trend every year the number of participants is always increasing.

From every Greskal festival in southern Russia it will be crowned Miss Sheregesh. She was chosen as the prettiest and most skilled participant showing her skiing skills and jumping on a trampoline in a swimming pool.

Miss Sheregesh will be praised as the craziest and bravest woman. He said that participants in this festival were free of charge, the condition was that skiing photos could be uploaded on the organizer’s social media. In addition, there are donations from participants.
