KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. For the effectiveness of the administration, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) plans to dissolve 18 institutions and commissions that exist today.
“In the near future there will be 18 (institutions or commissions to be dissolved),” President Jokowi said at the Merdeka Palace on Monday (7/13).
President Jokowi argued, the dissolution of these institutions and commissions as an effort to streamline the organization, because it was increasingly streamlined, the budget and costs to finance these institutions and commissions could be returned to ministries or institutions that had similar functions.
“If the budget can be returned to the minister, director general, why should you use the institution or commission again,” he added.
President Jokowi likened the government to a ship, the simpler the ship, the faster it moves.
“Going back and forth, I say that the State can quickly defeat a slow country, not a big country, beating a small country,” said the former Governor of DKI Jakarta.
Even so, President Jokowi has not yet mentioned which institution or commission to be dissolved, but it is interesting to look forward to a decision that will be taken later.
